M.M.C or Master of Mass Communication is a postgraduate Mass Communication course that describes the academic study of the various means by which you and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of the population at the same time. M.M.C program has three major tracks of study and at every step, you are taught to critically examine the role of mass communication in society, and you are provided with a firm grounding in theory and analysis. Essentially you are prepared to be leaders and critical thinkers, but it depends on you what career you are going to opt for.

The term "mass communication" is not limited to journalism but it spreads its branches to various other media fields like news gathering and news reporting, event management, film direction etc.
